I'm in love with those beautiful mares you see abow, horse riding is my life style and sense of living. I adore long evenings with good book and cup of hot tea, marching in the moutnains, long walks with my dog, and most of all meeting new people. Summing up: I've been penpalling for over 15 years or so. Some of my penpals became my friends in real, so I'm looking for someone who's going to write with me for ages... In fact for last year I gave up penpalling because of some reasons but I found out that I really missed that part of my life, and decided to go back to that. I'm totally freaked about horses, horse ridding and everything connected to that, so if you have your horse, you ride or you just love tnese beautifull creatures, I'm sure we'll be great pals - I can talk about horses for months :) I just finished a course of Mountain Guides - I adore mountains, nature and our trips with group of freaks like me. So if you're a "nature freak" this is another reason why I should know you better :) I used to work at operation room as a scrub nurse, so believe me, there's nothing what could freak me out - I saw all the worst stuffs there. There's no tabu for me, no things which would disgust me... I'm making jewellery, most of all earrings. And I love to send them to my penpals :) As well as other hand made stuff. | A big Hello to everyone reading this! I am looking for female snail mail penpals (in the 28-36 age range, or close-ish to that if possible) from any country, but I would ask that you be able to write in English fairly well and be able to put up with someone who cannot always spell correctly (that would be me! - ah, sorry! I have difficulty with some words, as to be honest, who makes up a word and then doesn't spell it how it sounds? What is with that? I think it is just done on purpose to confuse people like me!). I am in my very early 30's, I am a bouncy, maybe some would say slightly nutty girl who is married with a pet but no children and all settled down. I live in the UK and have been penpalling for well over 10 years (actually to be honest it's more like close on 20 years). I have had people stop writing to me and I have also been the one to stop writing, so I can understand that sometimes people stop writing after only a few letters if they do not click. I want to connect with my penpal and really enjoy writing to them about all things be that my life, my job, what's just annoyed me/made me smile, travels, film/book/tv recommendations, news events etc or anything else that springs to mind. I also want them to be able to write to me about everything they want to, but most of all I want them to enjoy being friends with me. That being said, I know that if there is not a spark of connection between people then the friendship will undoubtably fizzle out and mean that people will stop writing after only a few letters. Needless to say, this is why the first/introduction e-mail is so important. A nice lengthy introduction helps each person find out a bit more about each other and see if they "click" before any letters are written. I work weekdays in transportation and I love it. I am more than happy to be one of the boys and am not a girlie-girl at all. I am more at home in jeans/cargos and trainers than I am in a skirt or dress, in fact, to be blatantly honest, I don't even think I own any skirts or dresses (mental note to self to check my closet!). I still like to dress smartly and wear a little make-up though. I love: quirkyness, uniqueness, individuality, putting a smile on someone elses face, humour, fun, American country music, penpalling, sunkissed beaches, sci-fi, quotes, snuggly fleeces and jumpers, lots of snow, sunshine, cycling, travelling, scenic places, taking sceanic photos, driving cars and trucks, waterparks, wii fitness/sports games, collecting stamps, collecting postcards, gardening (particularly growing veg), cooking, tv programmes/documentaries, watching films (action/adventure/chick flicks/sci-fi), Postcrossing, history, watching snooker/tennis/winter sports/olympics etc I dislike: gale force winds (really, are they even nessecary? I do not require a rude awakening in the early hours by the wind trying to loosen my roof tiles!), horizontal rain (now that is just plain wrong - how are you supposed to keep dry with an umberella and coat if the rain comes at you from the side rather than the top?) etc. My job can be extremely busy which means that I may not be able to write back to you right away. I know that can be a deal breaker for some people so I am mentioning it up front here so that you know. To be honest, it may take me between 4-6 weeks to get a response written to you, however, I will make it worth the wait though. I always handwrite my letters (as I think that this is just so much more personal than a typed response) and I do tend to write long letters (3+ double sided A4 - depending on what I find to ramble on about). You just have to give me some material to work with! So, if you think we would be good friends then please send me an e-mail and introduce yourself, but, please send me more than just one line so that I can get to know you a little.
